Remember the days before Walmart, Target, and Best Buy took over the Consumer Electronics Industry in your town? When you could visit a real showroom with a variety of functional A/V displays and a knowledgeable, industry trained associate would demonstrate the items that you were interested in? Have you wondered, "What ever happened to that knowledgeable salesman, manager, or technician who treated my home electronics project as if it were his own?"
Nj Installs is comprised of a team who has spent over 35 cumulative years in the Consumer Electronics Industry. We were insightful and fortunate enough to be "in the business" at the height of the Home Theater and Custom Automation movement. We were professionally trained by factory engineers from the top leading brands, and have developed and maintained solid relationships with these industry pioneers. Each of us has held sales, management, technical AND purchasing positions in multi-million dollar electronics corporations.
We know how to please our clients. We have spent years "on the front lines", face to face, with electronics consumers, learning what they like, and don't like, about living with technology. We have installed and serviced literally thousands of electronics systems, from simple TV hookups, to "Sky's the limit" Whole House automation installations. We have lived this business from the ground up, from sales, to management, to training, to positioning speakers for optimal sound, and programming remotes. Our scope of knowledge in the field of Consumer Electronics is simply unparalleled by most other "TV Guys".
A unique amalgam of expertise and creativity. Robert is the founder, chief design engineer, and programmer of NJ Installs. Robert was among the first in the nation to achieve the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Designer Certification. His merchandising designs and expertise in the field of Consumer Electronics has earned him a US Design Patent for a Flat Panel TV display, as well as a radio spot on 77 WABC. His deep understanding of sound systems was further reinforced by attending workshops across the country hosted by industry experts such as Anthony Grimani (Dolby Labs, Lucasfilm THX). Robert also attended New York University's SCPS programs for Motion Picture and Music Sound Design, recording, and editing.
